Andre Bourgeois is an artist manager based in Nova Scotia, Canada. His company is Instinct Artist Management. With over 20 years experience in artist management, Bourgeois has guided the careers of some of Canada's most acclaimed artists. Bourgeois manages recording and touring artists through his Nova Scotia-based company and has extensive international experience in most facets of the music and broadcast industries including recording, licensing, distribution, touring and TV and record production.
Bourgeois
has also served as producer and/or assistant producer on a number of
shot-on- Clients have also appeared live on various television awards shows, including the Canadian Country Music Awards, the East Coast Music Awards and the Juno Awards, as well as on a number of news and current affairs shows like CTV's W5 and CBC's The National. He has managed ECMA, Juno, CMA and Grammy Award nominees and winners. Bourgeois has also produced or co-produced several award winning and nominated recordings and has been known to dabble in songwriting from time to time. From those earliest days, Bourgeois' focus has been on career-minded, long-view artists and projects. His career direction for his clients tends to be driven by an independent self-sustainable career path and structure, based on effective touring and live performances as well as ownership of masters and publishing and creative control/input. As Bourgeois once told an interviewer: "It's all about having a plan and vision that goes beyond next month. An act needs to be willing and able to think in terms of years and then plan and work that way".
He has
managed a great variety of acts over the years not limited to a single
genre or style.
